We are now into our last nine weeks of school! Please continue to encourage your child to do his /her very best with their academic performance and show appropriate behavior in school by respecting themselves and others. We will soon begin our Georgia Milestones End of Grade testing. Our 3rd grade students will complete their testing using paper and pencil and our 4th and 5th grade students will complete their test online using Chromebooks. Each grade will involve two days of English Language Arts testing and a day of Math testing. Only 5th grade students are required to complete the Science and Social Studies sessions. We will begin on April 17. Please make sure your child is at school before 8:00 a.m. each day.
Students will take:
English Language Arts – Tuesday, April 17 and Wednesday, April 18 (3rd, 4th, 5th grades)
Math – Thursday, April 19 (3rd, 4th, 5th grades)
Science – Tuesday, April 24 (5th grade only)
Social Studies – Wednesday, April 25 (5th grade only)
Make ups will be administered in between days.
Students who are prepared, calm, and rested perform better on tests. Here are some of the many ways to help your student approach Georgia Milestones in a relaxed, positive way:
